*It is highly preferable that a parent or guardian complete the form prior to a child's first visit as they will be best qualified to provide accurate information.
- Babies to toddlers are nurtured and cared for each week so that they might know God’s love.
- Preschoolers and elementary kids worship in fun, interactive ways designed just for them to understand their part in God’s Story.
- Parents and families engage at home with “Stick to the Truth” resources to reinforce the learning.
February is OPPOSITE DAY in JAM!
Have you ever thought of the word OPPOSITE? In the month of February, JAM will present opposite days and how the opposite relates to Jesus. The lessons we learn will help us understand how we can grow in Jesus and how he can help us in our lives and decisions.
What would happen if everything we did was opposite from what it should be?
- What if you wore your clothes backwards
- What if you went to a beach in the winter and went swimming?
- What if you were struggling to do homework and decided you just wouldn’t do it?
These are all things that are the opposite of what you should do! Get ready for a February full of fun and craziness as we take on learning about Jesus.
Learning to Give to Other Children
The children in JAM are learning the meaning of helping others by collecting gently used or new books for the children at Cheviot Elementary School.
If you would like to donate, books can be brought to the church by December 26th and delivered to the school early in January.
For more information contact Linda Benken at JAMchildren@cheviotumc.com.
