On an adventure with jam

Do you know and realize that every day is full of choices? Some choices are small, like choosing which book to read. Others are bigger, like deciding how to react when a family member or friend makes us upset. It’s not always easy to know what is best but there is a hidden treasure you can take into every choice, Wisdom.

Identifying and using the WISDOM that God has given us to make good choices will be the theme for the month of September. Teaching from the books of Proverbs and Psalms the children will learn how wisdom is a valuable gift from God that helps people make good decisions. Together we will see how not choosing sides, choosing our words carefully, and choosing to do well are all part of God’s wisdom. These are the “Big Ideas” that will be presented to the children by the JAM team and maybe, a pirate or two!

We want to thank the parents and grandparents for bringing the children and our church family for their support. Please spread the word to others of our Children’s Worship program. The kids enjoy it immensely!

To pre-register a child prior to his or her first visit, please click here: JAM Registration*

*It is highly preferable that a parent or guardian complete the form prior to a child's first visit as they will be best qualified to provide accurate information.

  • Babies to toddlers are nurtured and cared for each week so that they might know God’s love.
  • Preschoolers and elementary kids worship in fun, interactive ways designed just for them to understand their part in God’s Story.
  • Parents and families engage at home with “Stick to the Truth” resources to reinforce the learning.

Women's ministry

Women's Retreat | Ripple Makers
Friday, November 4: 7pm - 9pm
Saturday, November: 8:30am - 3pm

Please join us for the Women’s Fall Retreat – “Ripple Makers”

We are inviting all women of the church to attend and would love for you to bring a friend with you. Registration is from October 2nd until October 30th. The cost is $15 for both days (cost includes snacks, continental breakfast, and lunch on Saturday). God’s circle of love surrounds us every day. When a pebble falls into a pond of water, a ripple of circles moves outward. We are this pebble. The first ripple reminds us of the circle of God’s love that surrounds us (His believers). But look again at all the ripples that flow outward. This is us (His believers) sharing and spreading God’s love. We are “Ripple Makers”. Come and feel God’s circle of love and learn ways to spread and share the wonder of His love with others.

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. John 15:12
